  4. Have you ever been treated with immune suppressing drugs?
  5. Have you been pregnant more than once?

Antifungal Treatments:

  1. Citricidal [powerful antfungal antibiotic vermifuge made from grapefruit seeds]
  2. Pau Darco [antifungal herb often used as a tea, but available as a tincture from FSC Herb Craft]
  3. Tea tree oil
  4. Probiotics: acidophilus bifidobacteria help to recolonise the gut with friendly bacteria Which push out the candida. They actually manufacture substances, which retard the growth of the candida. Also Bifidobacteria help detoxify the liver. Keep refrigerated and take five to ten grams daily of each.
  5. Live yoghurt should be eaten daily.
  6. Lactobacillus bulgaricus can be taken too.
  7. Children under seven years old should be given Bifidobacteria infantis in smaller doses
  8. Biotin [the B vitamin seems to help prevent candida from taking the more dangerous Mycelial form.]
  9. Aloe Vera juice is a good antifungal. At the same time it balances acidity, and is very healing for the gut and promotes a healthy balance of bioflora.
  10. Garlic as well as being an antibiotic has antifungal qualities. Eat at least three cloves a day.
  11. Olive Oil; six teaspoonfuls a day. Like biotin Oleic acid in olive oil prevents the Myceliel stage of candida.
  12. Chamomile Tea should be drunk daily, for its antifungal properties.
  13. Echinacea is both an immune system enhancer and a strong antifungal.
  14. Berberine and Golden Seal are immune system strengtheners and anti fungals.
  15. Caprylic acid from coconut is a good antifungal needs to be taken in capsule form so that it reaches the target area in the bowel.Mycopryl comes in varying strengths.
